Challenge:  Redesign your Sailor Senshi as a western-style (as in western comics or animation/illustration style, as opposed to manga or anime) superhero.  For instance:  this is what Sailor Abraxas would look like as a DCU Green Lantern. Aaaaaaaaaand back.  Regular art progress and hopefully regular posting will continue on Monday.  I'm taking the rest of the weekend off to recuperate, for I have a twisted ankle, a massive blister on the side of one of my toes, and a really well-crafted sunburn.  But I found sand dollars and finally got to go swimming in the ocean (I have been craving some ocean swimming for so loooong) and won two little dragon plushies at the Boardwalk and Santa Cruz on Thursday night.  Lovely trip, I had a wonderful time with my husband's family.  They're amazingly fun people.  ^_^  Look for postings soon! ~A ========== Hey people!  A good friend is in

WELP.  So we're in the house and everything seems to be going swimmingly for the first few weeks. And then I caught a head cold.  And my husband caught it.  And my mother caught it.  And Dad.  And we finally get well.  Then the air conditioner goes out and it would be anywhere from 4500-11000 dollars to get a new one that would put out enough air for this ruddy house.  This is not an awesome thing as the house ate enough money from my folks that they can't afford to replace it.  Nor can the hubby and I.
